How much does Orgaa cost?

Does Orgaa handle payments?

Never. There is no built-in pot: Orgaa simply centralises the contributions declared by guests. Payments go directly between you and them via your external links (Lydia, Wero, PayPal, IBAN).

Can you share the group's expenses?

Yes. Everyone declares what they paid, and Orgaa automatically works out who owes what to whom to balance things out. The app processes no repayments: it simply shows the amounts to settle between you.

Yes. Orgaa is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The download is free, with no commitment.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your events are strictly private: only invited members have access. No data is ever sold, and we apply GDPR standards.

How does surprise mode work?

For pots or gifts intended for a member of the group, you can switch on surprise mode. The recipient sees neither the pot nor the related conversations until you reveal them.

Can several people co-organise?

Yes. You can name several co-organisers on the same event. They have the same rights as you, except for cancelling the event.

Can I invite someone who doesn't have the app?

Yes. The invitation link opens a web page where the person views the event and replies straight away: attendance, plus-ones, a note to the group. They can also check the schedule, book a gift from the wishlist and reach the group fund, without installing anything. The app stays optional, for the chat, the photos and the notifications.

Can I bring a plus-one?

If the organiser allows it, yes. Each event can enable plus-ones, with a maximum number and, if needed, the names to provide at the RSVP stage.

Can you share photos from the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A shared album, private to the group, gathers all the photos in one place. You can also launch a Fun Capture: each participant is invited to take a spontaneous photo, at a different moment for everyone during the event.

For your events, yes. Orgaa centralises chats, schedule, gifts, photos and guests, without the confusion of a WhatsApp conversation shared between friends and family.

How do guests organise carpooling?

Accepted Answer

Every guest who drives publishes their ride: outbound or return, departure point, day, time and number of seats. The others join with one tap, or ask for a seat if they have no car. You have nothing to coordinate: the list fills itself, and nobody is left behind.

How do I collect dietary needs, sizes or travel details?

With questionnaires. You ask your questions once (allergies, diet, T-shirt size, shuttle, accommodation) from ready-made templates. Every guest, and each of their plus-ones, fills in their own form, from the web too. You read the answers as a summary, per guest or in a table, and export them to CSV.

What is the difference between a poll and a questionnaire?

A poll is for deciding together: one question, everyone votes, you look at the overall result. A questionnaire is for collecting individual information: each person has their own form, and you go through the answers one by one. The first decides, the second informs.

How does Orgaa recognise the event type or an expense category?

From what you type. The event name (“Marie's hen party”, “Alex's 30th birthday”, “Weekend in Lisbon”) is enough to pick the type, the cover photo and the modules switched on; an expense label (“Groceries Tesco”, “Uber Eats”, “Airbnb”) files it under its category; the title of a schedule step (“Ceremony”, “Hotel transfer”, “Dinner”) gives it its icon and colour. Detection relies on over 1,500 words, brands and destinations, understood in six languages at once, and tolerates one typo in the event type. It never guesses silently: if nothing is recognised, nothing is chosen, and one tap is enough to correct it.
